Aaron Gordon, the No. 2 power forward and fourth-best overall recruit in this year's high school talent crop, committed to the University of Arizona on Tuesday.

Gordon, a McDonald's All-American, chose Arizona over Kentucky, Oregon and Washington at media day for the All-America game.

Gordon averaged 21.6 points, 15.7 rebounds, 3.3 blocks and 2.1 assists per game while leading the Monarchs to a Western Catholic League title, Central Coast Section title and the Northern California championship during his senior season.

He will not be able to officially sign his letter of intent until April 17, the beginning of the spring basketball signing period.
