Stanford left tackle Jonathan Martin will forego his final year of eligibility and enter the 2012 NFL Draft, according to ESPN's Joe Schad.
Schad tweeted the following: "Stanford OT Jonathan Martin entering NFL Draft: 'It's time to take the next step. This one hurt, but I want a new challenge.'"
Martin was named an Associated Press second-team All-American this season, and is considered by many draft prognosticators to be a top 10 selection.
Fellow Stanford offensive lineman, David DeCastro, is also expected to forego his senior year and declare for the draft.
