The Saint Mary's Gaels earned a No. 7 seed in the Midwest Region and will open up against the Purdue Boilermakers in Omaha, Nebraska.
The game will be played on Friday at a time to be determined.
Saint Mary's won both the outright regular season WCC title and the WCC conference tournament championship for the first time in school history.
The Gaels last appeared in the NCAA Tournament in 2010 as a No. 10 seed, and upset both No. 7 Richmond, and No. 2 Villanova en route to the Sweet 16.
They ultimately fell to Baylor, who was led by current Warriors forward Ekpe Udoh.
