In the wake of college football's National Signing Day, Cal coach Jeff Tedford was asked about of the ones that got away.
According to the coach himself, the Golden Bears may have lost two to three recruits when lead recruiter Tosh Lupoi bolted Berkeley to coach at Washington.
However Tedford said you can't blame the indecision of a 17-year old on a coaching change.
Instead, the coach vented on social media sites like Facebook & Twitter, saying a kid can write a few lines and hit send, turning a program on its ear. This is what happened when Shaq Thompson tweeted his de-commitment from Cal to Washington.
Tedford said Cal is not the first school to be beat down by a players change of heart.
However, he might be the first to change an old school coach's mind to what's hip on the world wide web.
