SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Cole Dickerson scored 20 points and gathered eight rebounds to lead San Francisco over Loyola Marymount 75-61 on Thursday.

USF (9-6, 2-1 West Coast) got 16 points from Avry Holmes, while Matt Glover added 12 points and 11 boards. The Dons shot 48 percent from the floor, including 8 of 18 (44 percent) from beyond the arc.

Loyola Marymount (10-5, 2-1) was led by Anthony Ireland's 18 points. Nick Stover added 15 points and four steals, while Evan Payne chipped in with 11 points. The Lions hit just 37.5 percent from the floor and were 3 of 13 on 3-pointers.

The Dons used runs of 10, 7 and 7 points in the first half to build a 40-23 lead at the intermission as LMU made just 6 of 21 shots in the half.

LMU outscored USF in the second half, 38-35, but the deficit was too much to overcome.
