Hyde entered the 2013 season with high hopes, but was involved in an incident with a woman at a bar prior to the season. Although he was not criminally charged, he was suspended the first three games of the season. He still led Ohio State with 208 carries, 1,521 rush yards and 15 touchdowns. He left Ohio State with the best yards per carry average for a career (6.1), single season (7.3 in 2013) and game (10.2 vs. Illinois in 2013). He also has the sixth-most rushing yards in school history with 3,198 and fourth most rushing touchdowns (37).
