Livingston suffered a devastating injury during a game against the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday, Feb. 26, 2007. He tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), medical collateral ligament (MCL), and dislocated his left kneecap. At 21 years old, Livingston also had his thigh and shin bones out of place, which easily could have ended his basketball career. He was told he might never step foot on an NBA court again, and never returned to play for the Clippers. Livingston missed all of the 2007-08, and most of the 2008-09 seasons.
