SANTA CLARA (AP) Mariano Trujillo knocked home a rebound in the 85th minute to seal Chivas USA's first victory of the season, a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.Trujillo slammed home a loose ball from 3 yards out after Jon Busch had made a right-handed save on the initial shot by Justin Braun, who beat two San Jose defenders down the right wing to set up the play. Both men were second-half substitutes for Chivas coach Robin Fraser, who won for the first time with the club. The victory ended a Chivas drought that stretched eight matches, including three games last season. Chivas (1-2-3), the last MLS team to post a win this season, is unbeaten in its last four matches.Alejandro Moreno delivered a tying goal for Chivas in first-half injury time off a 35-yard free kick from Heath Pearce. Moreno rose from a crowd at 11 yards and got just enough of a header to put the ball neatly inside the far post.Chris Wondolowski scored in the 16th minute, popping a short header over Chivas goalkeeper Dan Kennedy from a few feet off the endline for his third goal of the season. The league's leading scorer in 2010 was set up by Khari Stephenson, who headed forward a cross from Ramiro Corrales. The goal gave San Jose (1-3-2) its first lead at home this season and brought an end to Kennedy's 250-minute scoreless streak. The Earthquakes, conference finalists a year ago, are 0-2-2 at Buck Shaw Stadium and winless in their last four matches overall. But San Jose couldn't hang on, despite a spate of spectacular saves from goalkeeper Busch, who was often left exposed by the Earthquakes' defense.
