Quakes' GK Busch, MD Chavez named MLS All-Stars

Earthquakes goalkeeper Jon Busch and midfielder Marvin Chavez were named inactive MLS All-Stars, the league announced Wednesday. The inactive roster is selected through voting by MLS players.

Chris Wondolowksi, Steven Beitashour, Ramiro Corrales and Justin Morrow are all on the active, bringing the first-place Earthquakes' total number of representatives to six.

Busch, 35, has a 1.23 goals against average, alloweing 24 goals in 20 matches. After leading the MLS in saves a year earlier, Busch has five clean sheets so far this season.

Chavez, 28, has one goal and nine assists in 19 matches.

The MLS All-Stars will face European Champion Chelsea in the 2012 MLS AT&T All-Star Game Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. at PPL Park in Philadelphia.
