ALAMEDA – Raiders cornerback DJ Hayden spoke last week about the benefits of finally feeling healthy after an injury-plagued rookie season.

He might have jinxed himself. Hayden suffered a right ankle injury during an OTA session last week that was closed to the press.

He was sidelined for Monday’s OTA and was sporting a walking boot. Raiders coach Dennis Allen didn’t seem concerned by Hayden’s injury, or others that kept people from participating in Monday’s workout.

Running back Latavius Murray was out with an ankle injury. So was outside linebacker Kevin Burnett, who attended his first OTA of the offseason on Monday. He missed last week with a personal, non-football related issue. Burnett did some side work with a trainer early in the practice session.

Defensive tackle Antonio Smith and guard Lucas Nix remained out with undisclosed ailments.
