Injury report: Hudson, Mack, Cooper should play vs Broncos

ALAMEDA – The Raiders had some star power missing work this week. Khalil Mack (knee), Rodney Hudson (ankle) and Amari Cooper (foot) all missed segments of work. None of them, however, are in jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field.

All three were considered probable on the team’s official injury report, released following Friday’s walk-thru practice.

That’s the good news. Nate Allen’s progress isn’t so solid. He was ruled out of Sunday’s game after aggravating a knee injury in the Chiefs loss, which may keep him out some time.

TJ Carrie is expected to play strong safety in his place.

Cooper showed up on the participation report Thursday, as a limited participant with a foot issue.

Cooper and Mack haven’t missed games. Hudson, by contrast, has missed three of the past four starts with a right ankle sprain.

He tried to play last game, but didn’t respond well to limited Thursday work. This time everything went well.

“The key through all of this was staying patient,” Hudson said Friday. “There are ups and downs in a rehab, but you can’t let it impact you despite the fact you want to play so bad. I feel much better this week, and am definitely excited to get back out there.”

Here’s the full injury report for both teams.
