Injury report: Raiders' Hudson doubtful; Murray, Cooper probable

ALAMEDA – Center Rodney Hudson hasn’t practiced all week. A sprained right ankle has kept him from doing that.

It hasn’t killed the Raiders’ hopes that Hudson will play, even if it’s closer to a pipe dream than reality. The top-flight lineman was considered doubtful on the team’s injury report, leaving open the possibility he could play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

“He’s gotten better each day, and we’ll see how it goes come Sunday,” Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio said. “We’ll be prepared either way with the other guys.”

Backup Tony Bergstrom took most of the reps, and Del Rio said. Rookie fourth-round pick Jon Feliciano could be active for the first time as a secondary option. Feliciano is a guard by trade but worked at center in the preseason. Left guard Gabe Jackson was also seen taking snaps at center on Wednesday.

The Raiders are in good shape with other players listed on the participation report. Running back Latavius Murray is probable to play on Sunday, after clearing vital stages of the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Receiver Amari Cooper was probable after missing Wednesday’s work with a quadriceps injury. Cornerback TJ Carrie is also expected back, and the Raiders will activate Nate Allen off short-term injured reserve.

The Vikings are coming into the game relatively healthy, with only starting linebacker Eric Kendricks considered doubtful with a rib injury. On Thursday, Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer seemed confident Kendricks and edge rusher Anthony Barr (hand), listed as questionable, would play.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered a concussion in Week 9, and is considered questionable for Sunday. He is expected to play after practicing fully over the last two days.
