NAPA -- Backup quarterback Matt Leinart, who required stitches to close a gash on his right (non-throwing) index finger suffered in Friday's exhibition at Arizona, was not taking snaps during the Raiders' early second-team drills Wednesday. At least, not during the 30 minutes of practice open to the media.Rather, third-string quarterback Terrelle Pryor, was running the second-team offense and Kyle Newhall-Caballero was getting third-team snaps.Leinart, it should be noted, was wearing a helmet and playing catch, but his finger was heavily taped. In other injury-related news, tight end Richard Gordon, who started at tight end in the Raiders' two preseason games, was an observer after walking out of the fieldhouse with a trainer, while projected starter Brandon Myers, who missed the two games with a shoulder injury, was with the first team. Also, fullback Rashawn Jackson (hip) and nose tackle Jamie Cumbie (foot) were working with a trainer on a side field.Linebacker Aaron Curry (knees) was an observer, as was receiver Jacoby Ford (left foot), who came on the field still wearing a protective boot and undrafted rookie Rod Streater was with the first-team offense. There was no sign of receiver Denarius Moore (hamstring), center Stefen Wisniewski (calf), defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) or offensive linemen Ed Wang (shoulder) or Zach Hurd (head).
