The Raiders have received an array of preseason hype going into the 2016-17 season. And Oakland native Damian Lillard is jumping on board.

When asked Tuesday on Twitter what the Raiders' record would be this upcoming season, the Portland Trail Blazers' point guard gave a bold answer.

Lillard predicts the Raiders to go 11-5 this year. That would be their best finish since 2002, when the Raiders ended with the same 11-5 record.

In 2002, the Raiders went to the Super Bowl, losing to Jon Gruden's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was also the last time the Raiders won the AFC West.

Under Jack Del Rio, the Raiders went from three wins to seven in the head coach's first season running the show last year. The Raiders' most wins since the 2002 season is eight in both the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

The Raiders play their first preseason game in Arizona against the Cardinals on Aug. 12.
