ALAMEDA – Terrelle Pryor’s agent said the Raiders were setting his client up to fail. Jerome Stanley was vocal in his opposition to head coach Dennis Allen’s handling of the 24-year old quarterback, including Monday’s announcement that Pryor would start on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, in an interview with CSN Bay Area.
Pryor doesn’t agree.
He apologized for Stanley’s comments on Twitter early on Tuesday. Here’s what Pryor had to say:
I apologize for the recent comments towards the Raiders organization. That's not what I'm about. I'm thankful for this opportunity given— Terrelle Pryor (@TerrellePryor) December 24, 2013

Pryor is expected to speak with the press after Tuesday’s practice.
