Honestly, there should be no camp battle here. The backup spot is earmarked for Leinart, who comes in armed with intimate knowledge of newreturning offensive coordinator Greg Knapp's version of the West Coast offense having spent the past two seasons with Knapp in Houston. In fact, the left-handed Leinart has served as a mentor, of sorts, for both starter Carson Palmer and Pryor in learning the scheme's nuances. Pryor, Al Davis' final draft pick, remains an intriguing prospect, what with his blend of athleticism, unique skill set and work ethic. He Tweeted on Thursday, though, that his father had passed away and if he misses any significant part of camp that could put him further behind Leinart. Still, each offers a significantly different package for the Raiders should Palmer ever go down.
