Raiders, Cowboys will hold joint practices in August

The Raiders have been in discussions to have joint training camp practices with the Dallas Cowboys. Those talks have been finalized.

The Raiders announced on Tuesday that they will practice with the Cowboys at their camp in Oxnard on Aug. 12-13, in between the first two preseason games.

The Silver and Black play at Minnesota Aug. 8 and host the Detroit Lions on Aug. 15.

The Aug. 12 practice will be held at 4 p.m. The Aug 13session will happen in the morning at a time yet to be determined.

The Raiders last held joint practices with the 49ers in 2008 and 2009 at their Napa facility. The team will return to their old camp site in Oxnard, where the Silver and Black held camp from 1985-95, mostly when theywere based in Los Angeles. The Raiders returned to Oakland in 1995.

The Raiders report to training camp on July 24.
