ALAMEDA – Raiders fullback Marcel Reece survived an injury scare, when an MRI showed no significant damage to a right foot originally injured in Friday’s exhibition against the Detroit Lions.
Reece couldn’t complete Sunday’s practice and skipped Monday’s work, but returned in a limited role on Tuesday.

Allen did not provide a formal diagnosis for what ailed Reece, but was happy the MRI didn’t reveal a major injury.
“We’ll continue to monitor him on a day-by-day basis,” head coach Dennis Allen said, “but it was good that he was able to get back out there and get some work.”
That’s a huge positive for a Raiders offense that sorely needs their most versatile playmaker healthy.
