ALAMEDA -- The Raiders have become woefully thin at cornerback. They have little outside starters Tracy Porter and Mike Jenkins, both of whom are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

Jenkins was limited all week with a hamstring strain and Porter injured his hip flexor and was limited in Friday’s practice.

Nothing is guaranteed, but there is a possibility that one (most likely Porter) or both will not play the season finale.

That would leave Chimdi Chekwa and Phillip Adams to start in his worst-case scenario, a nightmare situation against Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Manning is supremely motivated to get home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs and break the all-time record for passing yards in a single season.

Even if one starter can’t go, it forces both Chekwa -- who jumped into the nickel corner spot -- and Adams into regular action against Denver’s high-flying attack.

Watson back in action: Rookie offensive tackle Menelik Watson was back at practice after missing a day with a calf strain originally thought to be the same ailment that’s plagued him all season. It was in fact a minor strain to the other calf and is of no cause for concern. He’s listed as probable and will play against Denver.
