ALAMEDA -- Darren McFadden and center Stefen Wisniewski remain out with injuries suffered Sunday against Washington.

Darren McFadden has been out since the first half of the Redskins loss, which isn’t yet a concern for Raiders coach Dennis Allen. It won’t be Friday, either; practice reps be damned.

“It’s not a situation where he needs a bunch of reps,” Allen said. “I don’t need to see anything Friday. I need to see something right before the game that indicates he’s ready to go.”

Wisniewski played every offensive snap against Washington, but emerged with a knee strain that has held him out of practice. Allen believes Wisniewski will be able to play, but time missed doesn’t help his chances.

“Stefen is a tough guy with experience. If he can go, he’ll play,” offensive coordinator Greg Olson said. “We are fortunate to have a veteran in Andre Gurode with experience at the position just in case Wiz can’t go.”

Gurode has filled in for left guard Lucas Nix, who has missed two straight games with an ankle injury. Allen said Nix looks much better this week and could return soon.

The turnover along the offensive line has been steady, with injuries at every spot in the starting five.

“I don’t know if we’ve gone a full week where we haven’t switched somebody up front and had the same five guys playing together,” Olson said. “I was telling (offensive line coach Tony Sparano) last night, ‘I don’t know if I’ve ever been in a situation where I’ve seen so much change over week to week.’”
