GREEN BAY, Wis. –- Raiders outside linebacker Sio Moore was taken off the field on a stretcher during Friday’s preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Raiders announced Moore sustained a neck injury and has been taken to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

After examining a television replay, it seemed like Moore got hit in the back of the neck and shoulder by Packers fullback John Kuhn. He was trailing a run by Green Bays’ De-Juan Harris.

Trainers left him face down until a backboard arrived to help turn him over. Moore gave a thumb’s up to the crowd has he was taken off the field.

Locked in a training camp battle at weakside linebacker with Miles Burris, Moore seemed to have taken control of a starting spot and was off to a solid start against the Packers before getting hurt.
