PITTSBURGH – Tevin McDonald is back on the 53-man roster. The Raiders promoted him from the practice squad for the second time on Saturday, giving the team safety depth.

Safety TJ Carrie is questionable with shoulder and hip issues, and McDonald will be available if he can’t go. Larry Asante was also on the participation report, though he his probable with a knee injury.

Veteran defensive lineman C.J. Wilson was released in a corresponding move, which was made due to increased health along the defensive front. Wilson was inactive last week, in deference to Justin Ellis and Denico Autry being ready to play.

McDonald is an undrafted rookie who can play free safety and should contribute on special teams.
