OAKLAND – Raiders quarterback Derek Carr left Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers with an apparent pinky finger injury.
The incident occurred early in the second half during a botched exchange between center and quarterback. Looking at replays, it seemed like Carr injured his pinky finger on his throwing hand.
The Raiders were up 24-7 at the time.

The team’s starting quarterback has been an MVP candidate during his first 10 games, and has been instrumental in the team’s first-half success.
Carr missed one series but returned on the next one sporting a glove on his throwing hand. It seems like the Raiders dodged a bullet with an injury to their quarterback that looked bad but turned out relatively well.
