Two days after placing them on season-ending Injured Reserve, the Raiders waived receiver Shawn Bayes, safety Zac Etheridge and cornerback Jeremy Ware.
The waiving of Ware, who suffered an ankle injury in the preseason, is somewhat surprising considering he was a Raiders draft choice (seventh round) in 2010. He appeared in eight games as a rookie and had a key end zone interception at home against Kansas City. Ware also had one tackle and three passes defensed on the season.
