Over his nine-year career Carlos Rogers has started 116 regular season games. (RAIDERS)

The Raiders signed cornerback Carlos Rogers to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday evening.

Rogers visited the Raiders' facility Monday morning and signed before leaving.

The 49ers released Rogers on March 11 after three seasons with the club.

Rogers started all 48 regular season games for San Francisco and was named a Pro Bowler in 2011.

The nine-year veteran isn't the only former 49ers cornerback to sign with the Raiders this offseason, as Reggie McKenzie & Co. signed Tarell Brown to a one-year deal back on March 14.
