The Raiders announced the signing of tight end Tory Humphrey on Tuesday. Humphrey has played in 31 career games with nine starts with the Saints and Green Bay Packers since entering the NFL in 2005.

In New Orleans' championship season he caught one pass in the final regular season game, but was inactive for their run that concluded with an upset win in Super Bowl XLIV over the Colts. He was released as a final cut in 2011, but re-signed with the Saints on October 26, 2011.

The 6-foot-2, 257-pounder played in seven games with two starts for New Orleans. He also played in 24 games in three seasons with the Green Bay. In 2008, Humphrey played in all 16 regular-season games with seven starts for Green Bay, with 11 receptions for 162 yards. He has 13 career catches for 181 yards.

Humprhey was a four-year starter at Central Michigan, finishing his career with 68 receptions for 862 yards and seven touchdowns.
