The Raiders are interested in DeSean Jackson. So are several other teams.
Whether the big-play receiver signs with the Raiders remains to be seen.
NFL sources have indicated that the still cap-rich Raiders are willing to make a "substantial" offer to the player released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday morning, but won’t get into an all-out bidding war to acquire his services.

The Raiders certainly hope that Jackson chooses to play in Silver and Black. There are reports indicating that Jackson has interest in the Raiders, a team he grew up rooting for, but he won’t choose them over an overwhelming offer from another team. According to CSN Washington, Jackson will visit the Washington Redskins on Monday. It remains uncertain when or if Jackson will visit the Raiders facility.
The team hopes that Jackson will be wooed by a fan base that will deify him upon signing, one in desperate need of a superstar on the roster. Jackson is looking for the best offer, especially when coming from a team with a realistic chance to win.
The Raiders hope to add a receiver who can give new quarterback Matt Schaub a legitimate deep threat the team hasn’t had in some time.
