It will be former Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn starting under center for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, as Aaron Rodgers has officially been ruled out, the team announced on Friday.
"Aaron Rodgers is not ready to go," head coach Mike McCarthy said on Friday. "He’s out for the game."
Flynn will face the Atlanta Falcons (3-9) in his second consecutive start and third overall this season after he led the Raiders in a Week 4 loss to the Redskins.
Between three teams this year, Flynn has thrown for 603 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Flynn, 28, was cut by the Raiders on Oct. 7. After he was picked up and cut by the Bills, he settle with Green Bay, where he played the first four seasons of his career.
Rodgers, who McCarthy says is frustrated, will miss his sixth consecutive game after he broke his collarbone on Nov. 4.
