ALAMEDA -- While running back Darren McFadden (foot) and receiver-returner Jacoby Ford (foot) not practicing on Thursday was not all that surprising, defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) sitting out again was somewhat of a headscratcher.Seymour has not practiced since the Raiders' 24-17 defeat of San Diego last Thursday. Still, coach Hue Jackson said he is OK with the 11th-year veteran missing so much practice before a game. The Raiders are at Minnesota on Sunday.
"We just got to make sure, again, keeping guys healthy down the stretch here is the key for our football team," Jackson said. "We just got to stay as healthy as we can, we got to get guys to the game. That's part of my job as the head coach is to make sure that we're coaching as healthy a team as I can. That's what we're trying to do."The rest of the Raiders' injury report for Thursday, then:Did not practice: RB Darren MFadden (foot), WRKR Jacoby Ford (foot), FB Manase Tonga (knee), QB Jason Campbell (collarbone), PK Sebastian Janikowski (hamstring), DT Richard Seymour (knee), CB Chris Johnson (hamstringgroin).Limited practice: C Samson Satele (knee), S Matt Giordano (quadricep), FS Michael Huff (ankle), S Mike Mitchell (ankle), CB DeMarcus Van Dyke (hamstring).
