Raiders outside linebacker Sio Moore was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team on Tuesday afternoon. The honor rewards a strong season from the third-round pick from UConn, who made an immediate impact on the Raiders defense.

Moore was by far the most productive member of the 2013 draft class. He had had 55 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble in 15 games. He made 11 starts and played 587 snaps primarily as the strongside linebacker in the base defense.

Moore was one of three linebackers on PFWA's All-Rookie team. St. Louis' Alec Ogletree and Buffalo's Kiko Alonso were the other two. Green Bay running back Eddie Lacy was named the overall rookie of the year.
