UPDATE: 4:18 p.m. According to the Kansas City Star, defensive tackle Vance Walker signed a three-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday worth a maximum of $13 million, with $3.5 million guaranteed.

The Raiders made a contract offer to defensive tackle Vance Walker following a solid 2013 in silver and black. Right now, he’s shopping his services on the open market.

According to reports, Walker was in Kansas City on Friday and will visit the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The Green Bay Packers have also reportedly been trying to set up a visit.

Walker could come back to Oakland if his expected market value doesn't materialize, though that seems unlikely. If he can get more, Walker will obviously take it.

Walker was an underrated performer last season, providing solid run defense and some interior pass rush. He had 40 tackles and three sacks in his first season with the Raiders.
