No NHL team will travel more than the San Jose Sharks next season. Team Teal will feel the impact of being one of the few west coast teams in the league, as they will cover 57,612 miles next season.
It's a sharp increase over the 43,994 miles the club traveled last year.

The Phoenix Coyotes will compile the second-most frequent-flyer miles with 52,633 on the schedule, while the Colorado Avalanche's 49,007 miles puts them in third.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the New York Rangers and New York Islanders will both travel just under 30,000 miles.
While the Sharks face a travel-heavy schedule, they'll appreciate having to play only 10 sets of back-to-back games, tying them for fewest in the league.
The Sharks kick off the 2013-'14 season at home against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday, Oct. 3.
