Sharks place Burish on IR, recall Kearns

SAN JOSE -- The San Jose Sharks placed forward Adam Burish on the injured reserve Tuesday morning, and recalled forward Bracken Kearns from the Worcester Sharks, the team announced in a press release.

During the 2012-13 season, Kearns, 32, played in one regular season and seven postseason games with San Jose. In 66 games with Worcester, Kearns posted 46 points (21-25=46), leading the team in goals, assists and points. He was named Worcester Sharks MVP and represented the team at the 2013 AHL All-Star Game.

Burish, 30, has been out since mid-September with a lower body injury.
