The Sharks re-signed forward Brandon Mashinter to a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday.
Per team policy, financial details were not disclosed.
The tough 23-year old played in 13 games with the Sharks in the 2010-11 season, recording 17 penalty minutes and five shots in 13 games.

Mashinter played 65 games for the Worcester Sharks last season, and his 16 goals and 33 points were good for second and fourth on the team, respectively
The six-foot-four, 230-pounder has played 13 NHL games after being signed by the Sharks as a free agent in 2009.
