Sharks reassign Matt Tennyson to Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Matt Tennyson to the Worcester Sharks (AHL).

Tennyson, 23, has recorded 10 points (2-8=10) and 23 penalty minutes in 31 games for the Worcester Sharks this season. The six-foot-two, 205-pound blueliner has collected 39 points (8-31=39) in 98 career AHL games with Worcester.

Tennyson was signed as a free agent on March 29, 2012.
