Sharks recall defenseman Mueller

SAN JOSE -- San Jose Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Mirco Mueller from the San Jose Barracuda.

Mueller, 20, has posted one assist and a plus-1 rating in three games with the Barracuda this season. He made his NHL debut in 2014-15, recording one goal and three assists in 39 games with the Sharks. In addition, he added one goal in three games with Worcester (AHL) last season.

A six-foot-three, 210-pound native of Winterthur, Switzerland, Mueller was originally drafted by San Jose in the first round (18th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
