Sharks defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic has a full no-trade clause in his recently signed five-year contract extension, his agent confirmed to CSNCalifornia.com on Monday.

Vlasic, 25, has one year remaining on his current deal that will pay him 3.7 million in 2012-13. His five-year extension begins in 2013-14, carrying an annual cap hit of 4.25 million and the full no-trade clause.

In 471 career games over six seasons, all with San Jose, Vlasic has 22 goals and 111 assists for 133 points and 175 penalty minutes, along with a 62 rating.

Vlasic hinted in a conference call the day the deal was announced that his new contract contained some sort of language that would prevent him from being moved without his consent.

Theres a good chance Ill be a Shark for the next six years, and I want to be a Shark for the next six years, as well, he said on July 11.

Now we know for sure.
