The Sharks are out on Mike Babcock, as he found a new home in Toronto, but San Jose already has a new coaching candidate to speak with Wednesday.
The Sharks continue to do their due diligence as they look for the team's next head coach, and are reportedly speaking with Adam Oates on Wednesday.
During his introductory press conference with the Oilers on Tuesday, Todd McLellan shed some light on his departure from San Jose.
