Fox rocks Band-Aid, scores game-high 24 in win over Pistons

Might De'Aaron Fox consider becoming a full-time member of the Band-Aid gang?

If the 24-year-old plays as he did in the Kings' 122-113 win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night at Little Caesars Arena, then Fox could consider keeping the look. The victory allowed Sacramento to close out their six-game road trip with a 3-3 record.

Fox recorded a team-high 24 points, 14 of which came in the second half, after the Kings were down 63-55 at the break. He shot 47 percent from the field and successfully dished out nine assists, falling one short of a double-double.

The Kings star was rocking the Band-Aid because he required two stitches for the cut near his left eye following Sacramento's 124-123 win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Late in the game, Fox took a hit to the face and was bleeding, but no foul was called on the play.

While Fox resisted the look, he gave in, committing to wearing the Band-Aid for at least five days, but did so while playfully trolling Malik Monk, saying his injury required stitches and wasn't a scratch.

Monk sustained a scratch on the right side of his face in the Kings' 116-113 loss to the Warriors on Nov. 7. and wore a Band-Aid even after the scar had healed, much to the dismay of Fox but to the delight of Kings fans.

As for Fox's new look, if this is the start of a run where he is putting up huge numbers and the Kings are winning games, he might become a believer of the Band-Aid's power and keep it a little longer.

Sacramento kicks off a six-game homestand against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday, so we'll see if Fox keeps the Band-Aid or if it's a one-and-done look for him after two days off.
