Stephen Curry is investing in the Bay Area.

The Warriors' MVP recently purchased a $3.2 million home in the East Bay, CSNBayArea.com has confirmed.

The house, which sits on about an acre, was built in 2012 and boasts nearly 8,000 square feet, five bedrooms, five bathroom, four fireplaces, a media room, a billiards room, a 2,300-bottle wine cellar and a full bar, according to LATimes.com, which was first to report the news.

Curry, 27, is in the third year of a four-year, $44 million contract with the Warriors. He's scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after next season.

Selected seventh overall by Golden State in 2009, Curry is averaging a career-best 32.7 points per game this year, leading the Warriors to a 15-0 record -- tying the all-time NBA record for best start in a season.
