He will be miss the next two Kings games -- Friday against the Rockets and Saturday against the Warriors -- and will be re-evaluated on Monday.

SACRAMENTO -- The hits keep coming for the Sacramento Kings. Center DeMarcus Cousins is expected to miss the team’s back-to-back games against the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors on Friday and Saturday night, a source confirms to CSNBayArea.com.
Cousins, the Kings' leading scorer (22.0 per game) and rebounder (11.0), injured himself late in the second quarter of the team’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Halloween night. He has been listed as day-to-day by the team, but it is now clear that a two game layoff was likely insufficient for the All-Star big.
Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee was the first to report Cousins would miss more games.

Cousins told CSNBayArea.com on Tuesday that he was hopeful that he could return this weekend, but this is a fluid situation. An Achilles injury is not something to be taken lightly and the Kings will err on the side of caution.
Sacramento is 0-2 in the 25-year-old's absence this season. They sit at 1-4 on the season and have struggled to an 11-35 record without Cousins during his five-plus seasons in the league.
There is a slim chance Cousins will return to the court this weekend, but fans shouldn’t plan on seeing him until Monday at the earliest.
