I can check out our Sharks playoff preview here at CSN Bay Area dot com Brodie Brazil pleased to be joined by Kevin Carter's. And -- -- gentlemen this series at least initially seems like it all comes down to experience the Sharks haven't. The saint Louis blues not so much -- as -- of course in the postseason now for eight straight years -- rattle. The saint Louis blues haven't won a playoff team even since 2004. Have won the series since 2002 so. Since you're the senior insider here I ask you about experience what does it mean in this series. -- means all that much to be honest with you -- I think this is a matter of whether the Sharks. Are going to figure out how you play the blues past because one thing about Sharks and especially. In the last three games against him -- -- and Hitchcock got there was. They became a very impatient team they tried to take shots from the first chance they got. They got blocked it didn't get a lot through and they just didn't look like they were ever comfortable playing them at any point and they have to solve that or just going to be quick. Kevin the other day Todd McLellan told us that experience does play a factor in certain moments not necessarily all moments but in certain moments. Your thoughts on how it'll play out in this series. I think it helps if you're behind you know if you if you lose one game it's taking it one game in time I know it's cliche but. If the Sharks can somehow find a way to win that one game and and put some doubt in the minds of the blues. Would never want to lose you know obviously your first two games at home -- -- somehow find a way to us to put some doubt in the minds lose early -- experience to play back there. Reid guys like -- -- what did neighboring to a relatively long so at least it hasn't been in this particular situation or. Any experience the call. Because one of the things that happens with young guys when they get to the big stage and for Saint Louis this -- big stage they start. Tending to run around unless they are so well drilled. That they simply will grind through the system no matter what if they start to wander off into the woods. A guy like Jamie Langenbrunner Jason Arnott we'll -- them Scott Nichols. He's -- say that's not what we do here. Do this instead like you've been doing the last 65 games. That's where it's gonna come into play and you don't need ton of experience do that in just one or two guys in the room and everybody -- us. Kenny you've also got to see that there are some Sharks that don't necessarily have recent playoff experience Brent Burns wasn't there last year. And when -- TJ -- -- they've been there before just not last year. What's that experience going to be like for them to get back here now to the post season. Well Marty have what's been good that's -- -- over the past Marty have let hasn't been there a couple of years and he has been good. Brent Burns I still find -- he still kind of a wildcard to me he had an up and down regular season. If he didn't seem like he was really comfortable on the road the last couple months on the I don't think he's played as physical as he has in the past so. It's tough to it to it to predict what you're gonna get out of him but at the same time we have two guys in your third line injured Jordan and Tommy dwindles to rookies who who. Are gonna have to put puck in the net at some point you're not in the order align top two lines up. That being said maybe experienced -- spells out. We invite you to check out our coverage it begins at 4 o'clock on Thursday Comcast sports net California will -- Sharks pregame live. And in the context it is round one.
