Adam all pitchers in Oakland -- history with a -- 130 innings pitched the -- DR -- series names on that list. Andrew Bailey. Uphill -- spent some time on the DL last. Among the human case but he's -- to the bed he's already gotten Arizona a week before pitchers and catchers report. -- how is your -- -- and I know he had surgery on that elbow on September what's -- prognosis for the start care. I don't get fairly decent week early in I'll be right on track her -- for opening day in but -- -- here a couple of weeks early and Lotta guys started out here to save opportunities and not. The expectations then. You know Georgia but it said I don't -- -- start total amount this week. Know what exactly was done to it to the elbow -- Had a couple Spurs that bone -- renewed and had a couple and you know bone chips as well -- had Tommy John surgery in 2005. And that it's completely normal upper -- you know. -- Tommy John about five or six years afterward have to get a little cleanup. You know Renyel boats and -- and some brief look around so everything's good. So just little tuneup for your elbow meanwhile in the offseason Billy being. And overall the team a little bit too ticketed for a full body work over part of that was the bullpen and you guys all of a sudden. Have what looks to be the deepest and most versatile bullpen that I've seen in Oakland. It's let's start covering the team I was about ten years ago yeah I agree about -- he got bright pointers in the bullpen was a string doesn't work. Yeah we know we're all definitely excited to have those guys on board mean anything that can help -- You know along with that along with. What's that about or you know ability made some great acquisitions via trade and the free agent signing like Matsui and all around the other team teams looking now like a lot of depth everywhere outfield. You know and bullpen and start pitching especially the united -- -- got a Rich Harden to beat courier that that's -- That rotation. That's a good place to be in you know with with bouts with the yeah offense that were open out this year might dictate a little bit Allah. -- -- in the bullpen and you know Mike given this some specific roles were closers setup guys in. -- matchup guy so can be funnier that all important. Andrew you carry quite a heavy load over the past couple of seasons for the -- how do you feel about maybe sharing that closers role to ensure that you are fresh young. The stretch because for the first time in awhile you're expected to be legitimate players down the stretch this year. -- you know we're -- we're looking forward Derek you know we can't get ahead ourselves and we still can't play of the game and and like you said there's lot of expectations. You know we know that we don't get to go out there and play the game -- and put -- on the board so. You know as far as me having had that long miserable and unhappy so whether it's me about four Fuentes -- low -- -- -- in. Long rob don't get it and went in that spot from me in you know I know I know part of -- I'd like experience and you know I hope to learn a lot from him with him having experience coming into and our bullpen and the leader. And Joey DeVine also another guy who could potentially close you do have a lot of depth in the matchup games but you're going to be following a starting staff that start and get a bunch of attention. Nationally some young guys the first four jobs are locked down as you mentioned Rich Harden. -- be competing for the full for the fifth spot what's it like to know that you've got four guys going into camp. That have something of a track record and it's very promising future for the -- In terms -- starting rotation. Yeah you know it's definitely promising. You know I think I think you know the assault started you know back in 20082009. Where. Where are -- know -- had in the masterminding you know he put this team together right now I'm yet to contend this year or next year and in ten years down the road. You know with having -- and -- come up early in you know that need Trevor Breton and bring -- -- in. Yeah I think I think it right and you know he -- he put -- in this position and then yeah I'll start to surround you know guys -- you know experience and and leadership. You know such -- -- -- -- like said that been through you know yeah. -- the playoffs and deep into the season you know Mets series you know World Series champions so. -- you bring got along like that that surround your core group of starters and you know like I've been saying no our bullpen very strong where you know guys and go out of five -- and -- you know we can shut the door from Aaron. You know our conferences to start hiring now as far as bullpen -- -- -- out actually just that the -- Dallas down here in Arizona and you know you're joking. He's just like damn umpire to dive in yet and that. -- -- -- and gotten up front goalie I'm -- I'm comic reps and you -- games so you know there it it's it's fun to have that type of that mentality got in the spring training here. And Billy Beane did take some pretty significant steps in terms of getting you guys something of safety -- -- two time all star. Andrew the team hasn't had a non pitcher in the mid summer classic in quite some time what to get -- like three guys to actually know that hey this team might score some -- -- we don't have to throw shut out to hold the other team to one or two runs to have a legitimate shot at winning this game. -- -- you know that that's that's important you know I think I think last year or somewhere in there in the league -- -- you know water to run lost games and you know hopefully we can look better around them and you know hopefully come out on the on the winning side this year you know with the majors in. And Willingham met Syrian and those guys especially Coco being healthy all year. You know we have we have a lot of power and a lot of speed throughout the lineup well balanced lineup then. You know our our park -- plays placed our team you know were not a big home run hitting team the other column -- not. Well needed -- you know -- doubles and beat teams so. Especially our -- planning you know 81 games up there -- -- gonna win a lot ball games. Well it's certainly the most balanced team that I've seen in Oakland since at least you got. And six when they went to the ALCS and -- big part of that Alexander it's good to hear the Germans doing well look forward to seeing you down and Arizona. I thank sir appreciate him and look forward to -- particular. I think.
