I'm hit on art showing our -- -- that writer Paul good to hear it -- -- as an exclusive report for the at and California -- Zach Hahn. Now huge acting had been name be -- official head coach for the -- and pop that's needed to speculate that cut. But now it is officially here and there reaction when you heard you wouldn't be the guy. The the first reaction after yawning because we honey this is gonna happen anyways was kind of up pleasant surprise it was kind of a good thing at this thing finally happened. You know I I could consider myself a little bit of the conspiracy -- as well to it. And just kind of a neat little thing Al Davis never waste any time a waste an opportunity to make up. Some make something out -- some symbolism and the fact that he hired hue Jackson today to be the second. African American head coach of the Raiders in their franchise history on Martin Luther King Day. Kind of speaks I don't think that's why he did it today but it's a nice little book and what happened there. Speaking out mr. David speaking you out of recovered they should let him back at the season finale in Kansas City. And he kind of joked with you that -- will not happen in the world he let that thing you think that Jack thing is the guy and bring greater back up. I think Al Davis definitely thinks that he's the next Ted Lewis who would've given him the opportunity on X and -- speak for themselves. He's gonna let them know exactly what he wants and he doesn't it every single coach comes in anyways. So when he brings him and he lets him know this is what I want you you've reached a certain level now we gotta go from beyond that the offense has made tremendous strides in the 31 ranked offense before he got here. They were the -- they more than doubled. There often there scoring output they're the sixth highest scoring office in the NFL as yourself. It reaches certain point Al Davis wants in the take it to the next level whether that's true or not so many questions and Apollo plays coming back to create. Now Al Davis has the commitment to excellence and you've been around the team and you watch head coach at the how to act with mr. Davis. What do you personally do you think it hate I had coached and kind of having that relationship and on -- the field and. Without Davis it's definitely a situation where there has to be you have to come in with your eyes wide open you can't come in with your eyes wide shut you have to know exactly what's coming and you look back. -- in this you know was gonna make raider fans kind of wins a little bit when you look back at what. What happened Lane Kiffin Lane Kiffin came in body was gonna have a lot of autonomy body's inability or things his way or shame on lane for thinking that because you know that's just not how things work with the Raiders. Hue Jackson coming in he's already been here a year he was a coach in waiting since he got here last January. So they're gonna be no surprises other than that day to day grind of being in the head coach of dealing with the owner of dealing with the media. And not just calling plays but of making sure that everybody in that locker room isn't good -- -- -- ago. And big a lot of and they weren't any good that the player didn't like Tom cable data -- -- as a players' coach Phil what do you think. They'll describe -- at -- think they'll repeat hand and a lot. At what he's definitely player coach one day if not one -- because he's played I'd like to get in people's faces he's got the energy. Did when he first got here. You could see it in and remember when he first got here in January we weren't able to speak to him till the end of training camp in August -- we didn't see. First hand we're able to observe and witness and see how he challenged the defense. The offensive guys they're already on board I mean it is the continuity that the Raiders have been craving for so long and thirsting for so offensively those guys' development. Defensively in a bad situation or the special teams they're gonna kind of look back at him I think. And look at him with a more critical lie and and in a bad situation seems kind of an opportunist and and why is he the coaching you know is -- coach and we -- but. He already has a relationship with a couple the star players -- two guys like not be awesome while -- he called out and practicing without him. We're coming after you stop and when he couldn't stop that he got in his face again not not because back he's a guy they can definitely tell the defense say this is our coach this would have to him. Yeah he was a very boisterous guy and you and I witnessed that firsthand I will clear on Utley practically than during training camp. Why do you think that -- strippers on tampering when your head coach. How that helped fire up -- team because we thought that the team that went brits out it got kind of a fiery guy they make fun -- do you think that it helped that the writers. I don't think it can hurt it and it's a strange situation because Al Davis does not believe and and culture he does not believe in in chemistry on. Madison heatedly and -- but in chemistry he wants guys out there that are playing football and gone for the single that's what they're all going for anyway so. What he can bring into that locker room is that same fire that same. Dignity is not really quiet to me it's more of an outward. Here we are. Stop us. You were gonna do see if you can stop -- that's what he did to his own team to do that in his own defense we're gonna do this play seeking to stop us. He's gonna bring that same level of confidence into that whole locker room whether -- instead -- just 21 unit. And like that he immediately have to do out on the field. Again -- at the confident that he hired the right. -- to win he has to win right away then there can be no -- your -- on your face like they did in Tennessee this year in the season opener they've got to come out and they've got to continue. This nice little path they've been on because you know eight and eight. And that was my mistake I guess with suggesting they -- Al Davis is a good season that was a nice finish of the season make it's part -- and his response obviously was if that's the world you live in. -- that's not the world he does that he expects the Raiders in the playoff on every year expect him to be in the super doubles so that's the challenge that that. Q Dick he Jackson is facing and a. Yet no gray area went on to win and -- that for the silver and I think he's so much greater than I -- Paul Gutierrez that came along and it is an exclusive report brought deal on the at and California and that can't.
