Your team is 81. Best record best start since 1970. And going into the season the big question was how you replace a Toby Gerhart and the running game has even exceeded that surprising to tell me about are you feel about. How well the running game has has responded. They were doing all right there. And you know obvious our record and where we wanted to do rather mean I don't know right now over it. You know big big opportunity this game is the most important thing -- really. Registered physical out there get a win and nothing else and I think our team is focused on that. And -- now -- nothing changes that. You forgive me I got to focus on the running game for a second your stuff on Taylor certainly showed flashes of what he'd receive more full time now. Tell me what he has meant to the offense and in -- he exceeding what you what your expectations or. We we thought we had really good running backs going into the season maybe some other people. Thought that was a question mark but six and Anthony Wilkerson and Jeremy Stewart who -- and we knew we had your backs would you know really which who has. They were the best one was at that time and that maybe we still don't. But they're competing for carries and they're we knew we were gonna lose games because our running backs and quite frankly thought we could it help us win games and have. -- -- Anthony -- and you look at contributions of Tyler Gaffney and guys who get. -- just a handful of carries at best per game really coming through in making the most of their opportunity what does that say about these guys are all sophomore younger. So they're they're tell -- football players and they work extremely hard. And they wanted to touches they wanna they wanna go into the game they're highly motivated that. You know use cracks in better those the guys are gonna get the most reps -- getting the games you get the hot hand. Your offensive line should not be overlooked veteran crew that said doing a great job -- comic can you say about the success here running game. As it pertains to the offensive line. They're doing a very good job. Not just a running game -- in the passing game as well. I don't know how many sacks we got this year but it's not that many and the commander or your protection. They provide a lot of leadership for the team and -- from return and Derrick -- the right tackle really stepped up and has been a really pleasant surprise. Where he's played this year -- Steelers played his best football Jonathan Martin and David -- both. Playing extremely well today under Phillips. I mean talk about overcoming adversity and everything he's had to do this year mean he is having a tremendous season and and really anchors that line for us. Just more on what does own -- and for this offensively. You know to have to the success of the running game. Who is say this did had chances to watch or recent play in the if you have to ask that question. What is he had let me tell you this he's only going to be here for one more home game. -- got four days lessons as a cardinal come out and watched this youngster play he is a phenomenal. Football player. He -- toughness yes as grit. And he gets his block every single time to be eventually played on Sundays but but come -- CY get a chance. And then finally. The defense of improvement. Has been significant and we look at the national rankings from ninetieth 34 this week what has been. The primary difference I talked to coach -- Jones and basically said just kind of doing a little bit of everything better your perspective on the improvement of the defense. Well very humbled by could stay -- To say. You know the spread the credit around he deserves a large serving he is he has really done a marvelous job of coaching. And just fantastic three as the players believing and trusting each other and and schemes and having answers. And then led the way the players have played and I think they've they've important position where they can. Really shy guys like chase Thomas and Tom -- at the outside linebacker position. -- flu -- Sherman. Michael Thomas. The Lotto a man must feel all those guys -- -- or -- sick incidentally. You are really play and play great football that's that's -- worried that a lot of strides this year's football team our defense is played we're very very well.
