And tonight it's incredible group is gathered to honor the inaugural inductees. Only hit the legendary owner Edward DeBartolo junior. Widely regarded as the father of the American shopping mall. Edward. And 1977. Mr. marvelous senior purchased the 49ers. Now and it's fourth decade as a family business. And that purchase at the stage for much of the story that we're going to hear about tonight. And here's quantifying the story. Once the foundation was in place. Over eighteen feet. Seventeen. Winning season. Sixteen. Playoff. And -- NFC championship games. Five Super Bowls bringing home the Lombardi trophy each time. For Hall of Fame players and certainly more to come. One legendary Hall of Fame coach. And countless numbers of exceptional players. Coaches and executives who are gathered here in this stellar collection tonight. It is the greatest dynasty in history of Bay Area professional sports without question. And tonight you're gonna hear. From people who work hard this incredible legacy.
