DC united coveted time as you mentioned Saturday night for a 7 o'clock kickoff of Buck Shaw Stadium. Quakes four overall the last three. We're trying to get hot again as they were what you can play so well like when the World Cup -- invited the earthquakes general manager. John Doyle and studios were -- great -- on the -- candidly wells from an average of. -- -- -- California there was talk. About maybe taken a little time off during the World Cup with with Major League soccer how serious was that why ultimately to the league decided. Continue to play on during the world's biggest soccer tournament. I think we did take small break into a couple week break and then that we are able to start a start up a week ago brand. What's been good I think I think you have to. In years past we did take a break and we had players going to the World Cup he had. The euphoria behind the World Cup everything going on and and I think finally MLS and listen let let's take a little break let the players the staffs enjoy it let us general managers watched more games and scout things said. Give our players a little breaks a week we took off -- -- to talk about taken off the duration of the tournament the entire month of that he's not a feasible. I think that be too difficult to do and and you end up not having as many games then fassel's -- -- -- just -- couple weeks I have played last Friday at Salt Lake City I noticed and your first home matches since United States great success in the match last Saturday against -- that was the most watched men's. Soccer match ever. Search for almost fifteen million Americans. Watched itself. Are you anticipating what your reopened Buck -- Stadium on Saturday the people are going to be checked for your sport -- not watching guys play again. I think -- be some carry over with the with the way the United States has done our our fans are a little difference in the World Cup fan that we have hardcore analysts fans they do enjoy the DL World Cup games but they always come to our games to so. We're hopeful we can get that casual fan who is energized by watching World Cup games to come out and support team. How nice was it for you did take on Real Salt Lake without Robbie Findley having -- seeing him with the national team -- the -- a nice boost to get that. Him not on the field and 00 game. Absolutely you know other if you threw balls without them -- -- -- is he's an exceptionally fast player for the US team not a great finisher yet I think he'll become a great finisher but. It was nice not to see him on the road -- good finishers this year it's been Chris one allows he's been. The terrific finisher how'd he make such a big step up this year in his game to be the finish of the quakes needed. I he got the opportunity was always say a guy we drafted by six years ago outfielders -- he came back to the Bay Area and that he ended up being AM. You know working hard and always being ready he got the call we had some injuries his pride -- fourth player in our depth chart. With three injuries he got a chance scored a goal that's kind of the rest is history for him. He's from de LaSalle high school he's a he's a tough -- -- -- tell me about that is the match coming up on Saturdays and that you guys are off to a a great start little -- over your last three. Think -- got a couple of losses and a draw mixed in there but tell me about not picking up the schedule from the scoreboard -- Portugal did you starting on Saturday. And I think getting in the MLS every home. Game as a game that you need to win. I think. It's DC united they're struggling a little that -- great parity in our league so any team can beat any team on any given day so. For us we wanna start out strong get off topic DC united -- -- inactive for sure and that it's. We have usually the all star break but with a little World Cup -- get a little break them have the all star break and and we have that we have to really go after because our division is real tight right now all the points and it's anybody's anybody can make the playoffs right now. And they all star game regular play man you -- Yeah a little bigger credible Houston's Reliant Stadium and United's that's being the great game for them ourselves first.
