But thanks guys were with there will be just like to call on the left fielder. And did you address everybody today. I think stuff for the good shaking up the -- we -- even know you don't attack neither did I I was sitting in my house -- like this please don't write the next step and I think. Topics will not work time so long feels weird guy so you you have diligence sweet. Hello I'm not people and let him. And I'm gonna ask you to point out one guy that in season while that you're happy to see. One guy has seen palace guards. Yeah I was ready to play in the it was a great ballplayer and also Jeff Kent that we were good combination together and we're happy about it Weaver's. It was -- -- I think since Willie Mays and McCovey I don't see any better to companies and yeah there's a chance you guys get inducted into the hall thing in the same time. He might go before -- because he retired first of me. What the -- has -- time they'll fight. It's going to be close -- -- going to be on the can be good time just a great book yeah. Finals what do you remember about 2000 new ballpark great team. You know I was in I was like god what I'm about to about his 2002 always -- my head you know -- the World Series. But Tom I remember 'cause I always say candlestick is very hard to miss anything else outside the candlestick. When you drive and -- -- going and a little fenced in parking lot and you walk right into your locker room. And had the opportunity to drive downtown San Francisco. And I walked as long tunnel and I had we had our own little parking area walk on long tunnel and I walked into my locker room because at candlestick lockers were. This big and the other women crunched together it. And in the dugout we long like this try to keep each -- he doesn't well it really wasn't that we were trying to stay one on the benches were big enough they were I didn't do that fit their -- that way it was back then and then. I -- my locker and I looked in my luckily finally had our uniforms there in our name tags -- It was so big and you know just looking around and and that's I walked on the -- staircase into the dugout and I looked at this beautiful field and and brick wall and just a whole ambiance of this stadium just. It was time. I was proud and I was happy to be able to beat him a better place. Well what it with a degree in anticipation that year was. Who is gonna be the first guided the ball in the water we had a pretty good idea it was going to be and this is author Rich Rodriguez and made for. And didn't do this a lot of don't have -- I'm what was coming to cover pitches on strike zone -- it's coming eventually it was early part of season. You know batting practice helped -- a -- to be out of position my body in good position and you know the fans wanted it and I was glad to be of provided. When you know you you're you're probably the only guy that we've seen. That consistently hit him in the water. And it. That is really pretty cool because many kayaks out there anymore everything is Cubs ultimate decision. Pretty good ball players joining the -- yet yeah the weak side that you're the guy who ever played here that says that it isn't placed in his. You loves it here. I love the city of San Francisco and you know I try to explain to people. If you could have played at candlestick ballpark you have to have a certain mindset and you had to have a certain will to want to play baseball because of all the elements were against you. That win the weather you know it was his big losers not the most comfortable place to play baseball. And knew when you come into this environment here in this stadium here at AT&T park. And you don't wanna play baseball you're never baseball front and that's not well the other one that we'll always remember and there are a lot of them. Was -- it was 756. I can't imagine how can. Six I was just so happy for the people us -- so happy for based on you know and I wanna think you know baseball. For so many wonderful years of my career and I -- you know I wanted to run downstairs and I got opportunities thank Mike Murphy for. Being in my baby sitter when I was young and being my baby -- when I was an adult comic visitors say they had -- -- -- babysitting their entire lives know -- -- -- And I wanted to thank the ownership for putting such a good group together and and put in such a wonderful stadium on here. 'cause you know they -- mistake you get 3040000 people still looks right out. You get 30000 people here it's a constant shelling and and be a ball player in San Francisco. In this city you know you wanna perform very well in these these fans -- -- diehards John and I'm proud to be part of the giant. Well you're here because of the 2000 team what do you remember about the team. Well. I remember Ruoff Marvin was playing center and Elvis com analyst Elvis I want to help us stay in Vegas so forgive him I don't know where John works. How does -- does that sound right filled in the united Jeff Kent and Rich Aurilia and rob name. And I think. The best part about as we have Woody on the mound and what he's always been the one that's always done well for us we needed it. And I forcibly that we meg and we start up the season six and no I believe coincidence yeah 06 and well and go back to candlestick Wheeler had a nervous at that time but wind up happening that season you know -- -- record was really really good though it into the playoffs and and that was the main thing. This is that we all played well together and then and barn on anything outside hi I'm very. Fortunate and very lucky to be. And or good great organization and also have an opportunity that organization put together a good squad of guys together come out and perform person. I have to ask you go to the game couple years now. What is the one thing about the game that you miss the most. -- -- Teaching teaching not I was given -- I was blessed with the gift from god who has the ability hitting in the -- and knowing the concept of it and you know my time I Massa did pretty well. And I think it's time for me that passes on I had opportunities to work -- it Ryan Howard. In Florida this winner and I think. It's time for me to pass on what god has blessed me -- Give it to whoever else wants. And I don't -- idea to let that receives it was a CD's -- yesterday I don't miss you guys I've missed two critical on this. And you two of the best denounces the gravity and when a ball just we'll hear -- their season they're gonna showed up let's hope.
