Jeff Kent talks with Greg Papa about his decision to leave the San Francisco Giants. Kent claims he would have stayed with the team had Manager Dusty Baker remained with the team as well.

-- dusty stayed would you state. Probably so. Probably so and and and I and I don't wanna put the blame on dusty and an -- and it was it was a decision of a few things but that was a big determining factor of the reason why come back. And he was a big part in my career and it and it and it's like lose NA. In and I wasn't selfish attitude to not give. Props to somebody else who had an impact in my career and it was dusty. So when you take a big piece out of your career and comfort factor that he had in my career and he was a he was a guy that also. Was. Was facilitator for -- Berrian the other players to -- he was able to communicate area a level that not very many people do. Knowing that that was his big big part of the reason why we won as a team. Lose -- that. -- not step back and ongoing I don't know -- I don't know things don't work anymore and had the opportunity came for me to play in Houston. To play second base in Houston Houston was right on the verge of women. Which we went to game seven of the playoffs my second year there. So it was a great great fit for me so all these things came together and it just it's just it it allowed me to walk away.
