Ken Rosenthal says the Giants have been looking for a hitter, but it's still early in the season for teams to give anything up.

Certainly looking and it certainly mean a number of calls to teams basically asking hey. Would you make hitter a available would you -- hitter be available what would you want from us. If Kansas they have looked around and try to figure out what may be would be possible. But really it's still only June 1 and why dealing -- -- you would like to do something right now. There are not a lot of things ready to jump just yet. Even a guy like Nick Johnson nationals first baseman. There are other team's interest in Johnson the Mets Red Sox need to. It's really not the nationals interest to jump right now when they can have to demand only build.
